Magic scenery, open spaces, twisting ups and downs in the mountains of Atlas until the Sahara desert.
We will ride on the most beautiful Moroccan roads, venturing into the mountains up to 2700 metres above the sea level so that we will be able to admire surreal landscapes, oasis, and deep gorges before finally going downhill into the sand desert and at the foot of the Merzouga dunes.
We will visit magic towns, places out of our time… an Africa which is, at the same time, so close and so far from us.
Temperatures in October range between 20 and 30 Celsius degrees in the flatlands and up to 7/15 degrees in the mountains.
The Moroccan currency is Dirham (DR). 1 euro approximately corresponds to 11 DR.
Credit cards are accepted in the main tourist areas.
Almost everywhere in Morocco, the voltage is 220 V.
A litre of petrol costs 0,95 DR (approx. 0,95 €).
Gsm mobile phones work almost everywhere.
Arabic is the official language, but spoken French is widely widespread in public offices, hotels, banks and big shops; Spanish is known and spoken but also Italian can be understood.

First stop on the Moroccan soil, giving us the opportunity to deal with characteristic African landscapes and Moroccan plantations.
Arrival at the hotel in the afternoon and visit of the Medina in Fez.
Dinner and overnight stay at 4-star Hotel.
Wednesday 24th October
FEZ-IMILCHIL 350 Km

We go towards the mountain chain of Atlas.
On amusing roads we will ride thorugh a cedar forest where funny little monkeys live, then we will pass by a quick and well-traced highland and later by a twisting road which runs along the bed of the river; we will finally reach our destination at an elevation of more than 2000 meters above the sea level.
Overnight stay and traditional dinner at the hotel.
Thursday 25th October
IMILCHIL- MERZOUGA 300 Km
Briefing at 7.30am
Departure at 8am
We will reach an elevation of approximately 3000mt and then we will go downhill through the famous canyon called Todra Gorges.
Before arriving in Merzouga, we will be able to glimpse in the distance the cathedral-shaped dunes (approx. 250 metres high).

MERZOUGA-OUARZAZATE 350 Km

Departure at 8.30am
We will ride through the Draa Valley to finally reach the town of Ouarzazate, which was in the past a stopping place for caravans in the desert.
In the town, there is a museum dedicated to the cinema because many historic films like “Cleopatra” and “Gladiator” were shot in the surroundings.
It will be possible to visit the Kasbah and the Pacha’s residency.
We will have dinner and we will stay at 4-star Hotel
Sunday 28th October
OUARZAZATE-MARRAKECH 280 Km
Briefing at 8.15am
Departure at 8.30am
The route will involve flat roads at first and later it will become very twisting and panoramic.. something one can hardly describe: rivers, forests, canyons, cliffs and much more!!
Once in Marrakech, we will have the opportunity to get lost in the magic of this city, characterized by huge squares, markets, by the Medina, museums and hidden gems.
Overnight stay at 4-star Hotel
Dinner (not included) and free evening.

We will deal on our way back to Tangier entirely on an expressway.
Lunch break by the Atlantic sea.
We will be boarding at 9pm and then at 11pm we will leave towards Genoa.

The price includes: Transfer to and from Morocco by sea, accommodation, dinners, breakfasts in hotel (double room), packed lunches. Technical and medical assistance, Europ assistance. Intervention support.
The price does NOT include: petrol, drinks, Saturday’s dinner in Marrakech, food on Extra boat, and everything not specified in the itinerary. Departure is forbidden without valid identity documents.
INSURANCE
Participants will be covered by a travel insurance policy. It is also possible to add optional insurance policies (e.g. an extra insurance policy in the event that the trip is cancelled).
APPAREL
Technical clothing to ride on the streets. Remember to bring a rainproof jumpsuit and a pouch.
Everyday clothing: long and short trousers, T-shirts, fleece, track jacket, a pair of comfortable shoes, a pair of flip-flops or plastic sandals, swimwear and underwear.
MOTORCYCLES
Motorcycles must comply with traffic laws and be in good working conditions (at our incontestable discretion, we reserve the right to prevent unfit motorcycles from taking part in the tour).
The technical staff intervenes during the route but also at night for emergency repairs.
Having an insurance policy is compulsory, as well as the green card to travel to Morocco (please verify)- If your green card is not valid for Morocco, you will be given the opportunity to validate it at the port of Tangier or on the boat, after paying for an extra Morroccan insurance policy.
We remind you of carrying with you the spare key for your motorcycle and top box.
Motorcycles must be registered (test plates are not allowed)
At night, motorcycles will be parked in a “closed area” within the hotel’s secure car park.
